This is qualification Level 2 NVQ in Wood Occupations (Site Carpentry) is designed to assess occupational competence in the workplace. Learners are required to demonstrate their skills, knowledge and experience in the construction site for the chosen path. This qualification is suitable for practising Site Carpentry, but not only.
Pathway to Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Wood Occupations
There are no formal entry requirements for this Level 2 NVQ in Wood Occupations (Site Carpentry).
However, the potential learner must be able to demonstrate that they can meet the skills, knowledge and experience requirements of the NVQ before enrolment.
Assessment is the process of measuring a candidate’s skill, knowledge and understanding against the standards set in the qualification.
This qualification is competence-based, candidates must demonstrate the level of competence described in the units.
The qualification will be assessed in line with the Construction Skills Consolidated Assessment Strategy and will be internally assessed by an appropriately experienced and qualified Assessor.
